To generate interest in the Outdoor Industry & Tourism Career Pathway for Delta, Montrose, Gunnison, and Ridgway schools, the WSSCC is offering five free online CDLS course registrations per district for students considering this pathway.
Forestry and Natural Resources: Introduction
The Western Slope of Colorado is home to numerous public lands managed by agencies like the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service, and the National Park Service. These public lands in the Western Slope offer vast opportunities for outdoor recreation, wildlife habitat, and natural resource management. The Introduction to Forestry and Natural Resources course provides an in-depth understanding of forest ecology, management, and conservation.
